Mindless Musings

So I just remembered of this little thing my classmate told me a few months ago, being the Stephenie Meyer book... the one written in Edward Cullen's POV (I never could remember what it was called.. which is one of the reasons I forgot to read it). I went to her site and saw that the draft was available for download. I'm currently at page 22 and I got to say, I really loved the part where he was thinking of killing Bella as well as all the other people in the room. But I really don't like the part where he didn't deliver.. Of course, how could there be a story if he kills Bella? and how could it be the same story as Twilight if he did kill Bella? and yada yada yada... But then I started to think about all the vampire romance books out there.... I noticed that a majority of them have an instance where the vampire dude always finds that the blood of the mortal woman smells so deliciously yummyy and sweet. Also, the vampire guy is always part of the good guys ( or the human-loving side of the vampire faction) and that he is always trying to get under control whenever in her presence. There are always instances where the guy comes so close (like a centimeter) to actually sucking the neck of the female, but then regains his control and stomps away in fury.  I began to wonder... what if the vampire actually kills the girl? Wouldn't that be so cool? and one thing led to another... And now, here I am, actually trying to write a story to that effect.

On to other matters.... I'm currently trying to crochet a scarf ( yes I crochet, so sue me! It helps me think) and so far, my progress has been very little. I really hope to finish it.. not like the other projects that I have done...Sooooooooooooo.... I'm off to do some PS editing, Ciao!

The Tragic Death of Leonardo the Turtle

One day about a week ago, Leonardo was discovered dead under a pile of rocks. His shell had been crushed and it seemed that Leonardo was not able to escape the weight of the rock. According to the owner, Leonardo died a slow death. The owner received the turtle some few years ago as a birthday gift from his sisters. The death of Leonardo was a tragic one and this family mourns it.
